Day 10. . .Today was without a doubt our busiest day. We started out by going to a lavender museum, which taught us the difference between two types of lavender, and how they are harvested.
When we finished looking around, we went to a little village that is famous for its ochre. It was built on a cliff, that has breathtaking vistas. Within this little town there are many cute cafes and a church that dates back to the 1300’s. Although it was over 90 degrees yesterday the church had natural air conditioning because of the thick cement walls. From the area outside of the church you were able to see some of the best views we have seen yet on this trip.
After exploring we went to the Abbey, which is placed between large lavender fields. We were there to observe the monks rituals that take place at 6 o’clock.
From there, we went to dinner in a restaurant named L’Arome where we ate incredible food. The plates were like nothing we had ever tasted and was by far our best meal.
After a long day of walking and site seeing, we drove hope and had a good nights sleep.
