Day 14

Day 14. . .Not much happened today, we left our apartment in the morning at about 9:30 and headed toward Nice. On our way we stopped at a winery that was supposed to give tours, and was also voted best garden of the year. When we arrived at Chateau Val Joanis, we found out that they only give tours on Thursdays. Instead of a tour of the vineyard we walked around the famous garden.

It was stunning and the many different veggie plants looked as though they were sold in a restaurant. When we completed our visit of the garden we continued on our way to Nice. We arrived in the afternoon and grabbed a quick bite to eat  before heading to the beach.

We walked back to the hotel to shower off and get ready for our seafood dinner. Isbael, Brooke, and Eric all ate Paella, that really hit the spot, and Devon ate a steak and mashed potatoes. The entire meal was very good, and we are all going to bed early for a well-slept first day in Italy.
