Day 6

Day 6. . .Today we visited the most look forward to part of our week in Paris, Versailles. The palace was remarkable. Every room was breathtaking, from the furniture to the painting and crystal chandeliers.

After touring the rooms, we went outside and roamed the gardens. We rented bikes which allowed us to see all over the estate.

We ate lunch at a cute, little cafe and the food was delicious. We finished off the meal with refreshing cold ice cream then headed towards marie antoinette's private home. Her clothes were on display in each of the first 8 rooms and went on to see the rest of her living space.

After a ton of walking we wondered back to the metro  station for our train home. Because it was such a long day, we went to Le Bon Marche, picked up some dinner, and went back to the apartment for a good nights sleep.
